INDICATIONS:
DORAMEC is recommended for the control and treatment of parasites sensitive to doramectin in cattle and sheep.
Cattle:
Gastrointestinal Roundworms (adults and fourth-stage larvae): Ostertagia ostertagi (including inhibited O. ostertagi), O. lyrata, Haemonchus placei, Trichostrongylus axei, T. colubriformis, Cooperia oncophora, C. punctata, C. pectinata, Oesophagostomum radiatum, Bunostomum phlebotomum, Nematodirus helvetianus (adults only), N. spathiger (adults only)
Lungworms (adults and fourth-stage larvae): Dictyocaulus viviparous
Eye Worms: Thelazia sp.
Warbles (parasitic stages): Hypoderma bovis, H. lineatum, Dermatobia hominis
Sucking Lice: Linognathus vituli, Haematopinus eurysternus, Solenopotes capillatus
Mites (scabies): Psoroptes bovis ( var. ovis), Sarcoptes scabiei
Sheep:
Gastrointestinal Roundworms: Ostertagia circumcincta, (adult ,L8)., Haemonchus contortus, Trichostrongylus axei, T. colubriformis, T. vitrinus, Cooperia curticei, Oesophagostomum columbianum, O. venulosum, Nematodirus filicollis, Chabertia ovina, Trichuris ovis Benzimidazole-resistant strains of Haemonchus contortus and Ostertagia circumcincta are also controlled.
Lungworms: Dictyocaulus filaria (adult only).
Nasal Bots: Oestrus ovis
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
200 mcg/ kg bw (1ml per 50 kg bw), as a single dose by IM or SC injection route, under the loose skin in front of or behind the shoulder or as advised by the veterinary physician.
WITHDRAWAL TIME:
• Meat: 35 days.
Do not use in animals producing milk for human consumption.
