Composition:

Amoxicillin trihydrate 172.2 mg
Indications:
Amoxicillin is a broad-spectrum semi-synthetic penicillin with a bactericidal action against proliferating germs. In vitro efficiency was proved against the following gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria:. Actionmyces bovis, Actionbacillus lignieresi, Actionbacillus equuli, Bacillus anthracis, Bordetella bronchiseptica, Clostridium spp., Corynebacterium spp., E.coli, Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, Fusiformisssp., Haemophilus spp., Moraxella spp., Pasteurelia spp., Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella spp., Streptococci and Staphylococci (benzylpenicillin sensitive strains).
Dosage and Use:
General dosage: 7 mg amoxicillin / kg body weight
given by intramuscular or subcutaneous injection 1 (-2) times daily.
Cattle, horse, camel: 4 – 5 ml per 100 kg b.w.
Calf, foal: 2 – 3 ml per 50 kg b.w.
Sheep, goat: 1 ml per 20 kg b.w.
Pig: 3 ml per 50 kg b.w.
Dog, piglet: 0.1 ml per 2 kg b.w.
Duration of treatment: 3 – 5 days.
Preslaughter withdrawal time:
Ruminants: 6 days
Pigs: 5 days
Milk: 48 hours
