COMPOSITION:

Vitamin A 10,000,000 IU, Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) 5,000,000 IU,  all-rac-α-tocopheryl acetate (Vitamin E) 5 g, Excipient qs to 100 ml

 

INDICATIONS:

RETARDED GROWTH: Lack of appetite, Weak animals, Malnutrition, Picking, Convalescence, Allergies, Gestation and lactation, Stress, Increases resistance to sickness (diarrhoea, pneumoenteritis, omphalophlebitis, etc.), Ketonemia, Oedema.
BONE METABOLIC DISORDERS: Hypocalcemia, rickets, osteomalacia, lameness, lactating female decalcification, milk fever, fractures. OCULAR DISORDERS: Hemeralopia, keratitis and ophthalmitis.

NERVOUS DISORDERS: Encephalomalacia, tetany, convulsions, paralysis, motor incoordination.
CUTANEOUS AND MUCOSE DISORDERS: Dermatosis, eczemas, hyperkeratosis, anomalies of the hooves.
GENITAL DISORDERS: Sterility, oligospermia, protection of the fetus and newborn, placental retention, irregular hot flashes, abortion and gestation toxaemia.
MUSCULAR DEGENERATIVE DISORDERS: Muscular and cardiac dystrophy in lambs (white muscle). Muscular fatigue.

 

CONTRAINDICATIONS AND INCOMPATIBILITIES:

None reported

 

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

Deep intramuscular route.

Cattle and Horse: 5 -10 ml

Sheep and Goat: 2 – 5 ml Dogs: 1 – 3 ml

Rabbits: 0.1 – 0.2 ml

 

INTERACTIONS:

None reported

 

OVERDOSE AND ITS TREATMENT:

Cases of intoxication have not been described at the recommended doses. At higher doses release of histamines may occur. In that case administer immediately epinephrine and/or injectable antihistaminic.
